Drug Test Goldman Sachs!

Florida Governor Rick Scott used precious state funds to test Welfare recipients trying to disqualify them from getting benefits if they tested positive.  The upper crust view is that the poor are lazy, drug-addled bums. If we could establish that and withhold benefits, we help the state!  Unfortunately for Gov. Scott, the results were not what he anticipated. Less than 2 percent of Florida’s poor use drugs, a lot lower than the national average of more than 8 percent.

I agree with Ohio State Rep. Hagan that we should tax the bankers who got the bail out.  Anyone with even a passing familiarity with the Wall Street geniuses who crashed the economy can report the amount of drugs they consume.  If it’s good enough for the poor, why not for the vastly superior rich?
